The Jack Boynton Community Pool was built in 1956 to 1957.  It was opened to the public in July of 1957. The land where the pool was built was granted to the pool use but the building of the pool and the management were by the Clinton Youth Foundation. There was an admission charge to the pool and season tickets were sold.  A family pass was sold at $50 or $25 dollars to families who had given $50 to the building of the pool.
