I see that lessons are $35.00 for non-members. Is that price per class or for the total of all 9 lessons? Also wondering if there is still space in the Tadpole class for 1. Thanks

Hi Charity. The $35 is for all nine lessons. Please call the pool at 853.5687 to see if there is still room in the current class or the next class. Generally, there’s always room for one more tadpole. Hope your son or daughter enjoys the pool.

I had the opportunity to visit the pool on july 11 and found the experience very enjoyable! It was clean and inviting and the life guards very professional, being a former lifeguard myself through my high school and college years. The guards were very watchful and aware or their surrounding areas and switched guards appropriately. I ws very impressed with how those young people conducted themselves!! They are to be commended for a job well done and the community should feel fortunate to have them working there! I pay attention to the little details. I would like to suggest cushions for the guard stands though, it can be hard on the backs sitting in those seats. I also observed that they did not speak with the swimmers and everyone respected the rules that were posted. I also am appreciative of being allowed to have refreshments in the area especially if you intend to spend your day there. Great touch with the hotdogs sold. Maybe a small freezer could be added to offer to sell individual ice cream. Kids love that. I would like to volunteer to help in any way.so, thank you for a great experience. I will be frequenting the pool for the rest of the summer.glad I decided to drive by and check it out. Now I don’t have to drive very far to be able to enjoy a beautiful day 1o minutes from home!!

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience at the pool. I’ll make sure the guards and staff see your comment as I’m sure it’ll make their day. Thanks for the cushion and ice cream suggestions too! We’ll be in touch regarding volunteering. We’re always grateful for feedback, especially positive feedback!

Glad to see the Clinton Pool getting some much needed exposure! I not only spent many of my summer days there when I was younger but also was a lifeguard there for close to 4 years, when in High School! One job I wish I still had!

Hello. I will be the Youth & Recreation Director for the Oriskany Falls Summer Recreation Program. I know in the past, the children in the program have enjoyed and benefited from open swim at your pool and I’m hoping to find out the best way to organize the program again for the children in the program. Our hope would be to stay with the schedule arranged last year for open swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I’m also inquiring about how swim lessons would work for children who would like to take advantage of this offering while we are on the premises for open swim? We are in the process of setting up our events calendar for the program and finalizing our budget, so any details that I could get would be extremely helpful.

I can be reached via e-mail, or phone. I am also happy to meet in person to discuss our needs.

I live in NY Mills and wondering if we have to be a resident in order to enroll my 3 kids to swimming classes which are offered for Summer.Thank you.

You do not need to be a Clinton resident. We’d love to welcome your kids to swim lessons. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Is there a time/lane to swim laps?

admin June 16, 2016 at 3:38 pm

We do lap swimming from 5-7pm each night. Sometimes, the lifeguards forget to put the lap lines up so if you stop by during that time and see they aren’t up, please feel free to ask. They just forgot!
